Ms. Johnson formerly was the Director of Settlement Administration Services of a leading claims administration company, a position that she held for 6 years before forming CAC Services Group, LLC in May 2003. In her former position, she had daily responsibility for all phases of the claims administration process, from class notification to the distribution of settlement funds. During her tenure within the claims administration industry, Ms. Johnson has managed the distribution of more than $400 million in settlement funds to over 30 million claimants. She has an additional 13 years of experience handling insurance claims and insurance fraud investigations. In her capacity as President and Director of Operations at CAC Services Group, LLC, she oversees and manages all aspects of CAC's claims administration services operation. Ms. Johnson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and graduated magna cum laude from Moorhead State University.
As Vice President and Director of Information Technology, Mr. Johnson oversees and is responsible for all computer hardware and software applications used by CAC Services Group to administer class action lawsuits. He has created, develops and continually updates our proprietary case administration systems and data tracking technology to ensure our services are the most technologically advanced and secure services available in the industry. Formerly, Mr. Johnson was the Database Administrator & Senior Programmer at a leading claims administration company, a position that he held for 4 years prior to joining CAC Services Group, LLC in May 2003. Mr. Johnson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Minnesota, and has completed all required course work for his Microsoft Certified Database Administrator Designation.
As Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mr. Hanson is responsible for providing clients with cost-effective solutions that add value at every juncture of the claims administration process. His primary focus is to understand our client's needs and provide them with a tailored plan that addresses those needs, as well as, those required by the Court and/or the Class Action Settlement Agreement. Prior to joining CAC Services Group, Mr. Hanson spent 8 years working in the Automotive Industry as a Senior Engineer / Program Manager. He was responsible for hardware and software solutions used in highly complex environments by automobile manufacturers in their effort to bring to market vehicles meeting regulatory emissions standards.
Mr. Bassinger is an attorney advisor to CAC Services Group, LLC and serves on its Board of Governors. As president and general counsel to a Minnesota-based class action advertising firm, he has extensive experience in class action notification campaigns and programs. A practicing attorney for over 22 years, he was formerly a partner of the Minneapolis law firm of Duckson, Carlson, Bassinger & Mitchell, PLLC, and served as in-house counsel and vice-president of Metro Legal Services, Inc. a Minneapolis provider of out-sourced legal services to local and national law firms. He received his B.A. magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1982, and his J.D. from the George Washington University National Law Center, Washington, D.C. in 1985. His publications include Software Law: A User Friendly Guide for Software Developers.
In his capacity as Consultant to CAC Services Group, LLC, Mr. High assists with claims administration matters involving preparation of Proposals, and legal considerations of work undertaken by CAC. Mr. High has worked as a consultant, in both the public and private sector, for the past 21 years. Following private practice as a law firm partner in Kansas, he served as Attorney General for the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, as Acting High Commissioner and, later, as Deputy High Commissioner, for the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands. While in those positions, he resided on Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands in the Western Pacific. Since 1985, his professional activities have included ownership and operation of several Shell Oil distributorships in the Western Pacific; consulting to various governments in the Pacific region, including lobbying activities before the United States Congress; and, most recently, luxury resort development planning, project coordination and oversight for an international client. Mr. High received his Bachelor of Arts, his LL.B. and Juris Doctor degrees from Washburn University, Topeka, Kansas.
Ms. High serves as Consultant to CAC Services Group, LLC. Her experience is used to help plan and develop, as well as refine, the firm's claims administration process to ensure that it is manageable, efficient and cost-effective. Ms. High is also involved in preparation of Proposals. During her 22 years in the consulting business, she has provided services to both the government and private sectors. Since 1985, her professional activities have included ownership and operation of several Shell Oil distributorships in the Western Pacific; consulting to various governments in the Pacific region, which included interface with the U.S. Department of Interior and U.S. Department of Transportation; and, most recently, luxury resort development planning, project coordination and oversight for an international client. Previously, she served as a bank loan officer for a San Francisco-headquartered banking institution. Ms. High has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine, with a minor in Business Administration and a major in Behavioral Science with emphasis on Psychology and Sociology. She has undertaken post-graduate education in Business Administration, and has substantial experience in accounting and systems set-up.
